EKF Link

Connectivity at the point-of-care

Pebble
EKF Link is a powerful middleware solution for healthcare providers, centralizing data management for point-of-care (POC) analyzers on one platform.

A flexible, open data management solution that seamlessly integrates with most vendors’ point-of-care analyzers, allowing real-time management of patient test results, quality control (QC) data, operator management, and analyzer configuration.

Designed to provide a flexible and secure method for connecting point-of-care devices to hospital and laboratory IT systems, enabling the transfer of data from the analyzer to the hospital or laboratory database for subsequent processing. As an optional software platform, it can be installed on a PC or a server, allowing authorized users to access it anywhere at any time.

Its adaptability and ease of use make it a valuable connectivity addition to any healthcare setting, including hospitals, laboratories, blood banks, pharmacies, and general practitioners (GPs).

With EKF Link software, medical and non-medical professionals can:

  • Maintain an electronic data repository for all point-of-care tests
  • Integrate patient test results with the laboratory or hospital information system
  • Maintain QC records for all analyzers
  • Perform comprehensive searches of all records
  • Generate and print patient test reports instantly
  • Record and track QC data
  • Monitor operator compliance and device certifications
  • Store data long-term without the need for archiving

EKF Link Intended Use

EKF Link is a data and device management system that enables healthcare professionals to transfer, manage, store and display measurement results from point-of-care diagnostic testing analyzers. EKF Link enables the allocation of additional information to measurement results and facilitates the export or transfer of data for documentation purposes.

EKF Link is intended to be used as an optional software application with EKF point-of-care analyzers and open to be interfaced to other vendor’s point-of-care testing analyzers verified for connection with EKF Link. EKF Link facilitates the setting of configurable options of connected analyzers.

EKF Link is not intended for use in patient diagnostics, screening, monitoring or for making treatment decisions. Such decisions should be made based on the results displayed on the POC device.
